Born to be Wild Baby Shower

As i said before, I LOVE planning and organising parties!  Below are some photos of the baby shower I through for my beautiful sister-in-law late last year.  She didn’t want the traditional pink or blue, so we went with Zebra Stripes – black and white!  We played games, she opened all her beautiful presents, ate delicious food and had a fantastic time!  Miss 6 had so much fun sticking the personalised stickers on to all the bottles, and Miss 3 hung the baby charms around the neck of the bottles.  The games were such a hit – with everyone, young and old, getting involved and having a laugh!  We played the ‘dirty nappy’ game, had everyone make a baby from playdoh and the mum to be picked the winner, and I had everyone write down a piece of advice, anecdote or message and put them together to give to my sister-in-law.

Whilst opening presents, mum2b became overwhelmed and started crying, which was beautiful. She is a person who just doesn’t realise how loved and cherished she is by everyone, family and friends alike, so for her to see everyone in front of her, with so many gifts, I think it began to hit home how special and loved she is. It really was a beautiful moment.

All the personalised decorations I got from Big Dot of Happiness , the rest I picked up fro Spotlight and our local 2 dollar shop!  The baby bottles were a hit, with everyone taking theirs home as a momento!
